Kate will not be exhibiting her new work inspired by her China residency in 2011 in Scotland until a major solo show at the Royal Scottish Academy in August 2013.

\"\"<\/a>TUTORIAL SATURDAYS<\/span><\/span> in 2012<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Commencing on March 31st, Kate Downie is about to launch the first of her studio tutorials sessions.\u00a0 Replacing the popular Tuesday School of Art (TSA), which Kate taught from 2001-2010, Kate will make her studio and her time available to individual artists or students who might wish to receive private tutorials.
For many early career artists, having a supportive \u2018outside eye\u2019 on one\u2019s work with advice session\/s on both technical & creative aspects of art making is very helpful.
Tutorial sessions will be entirely confidential and up to 2 hours duration, \u00a360 per tutorial.<\/p>\n
