Last chance to see <\/strong>Shared Vision<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/em>This April I have been painting in my studio for a major exhibition in 2017\u00a0but in the meantime my Shared Vision wall of eight works can be\u00a0viewed as part of the 190th Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition<\/a>.\u00a0This set of appropriated ink paintings were featured in the touring show of the same title, which\u00a0opened at Stirling University in September 2015, then toured to Robert Gordon\u2019s University in early\u00a02016 and can now be seen in Edinburgh. Open until May 25th (admission \u00a35\/\u00a33; free entry on Fridays)<\/p>\n

Downstairs in the RSA Academicians Gallery<\/strong> further works from\u00a0my exhibition tour can be seen.\u00a0Open until May 15th<\/span> (entrance free 7 days a week)<\/p>\n

Open edition inkjet Print<\/strong><\/p>\n

Such has been the interest in this image from the exhibition\u00a0I have launched it as an\u00a0open edition inkjet print on archival paper; each print is numbered, signed and stamped with a hand\u00a0carved cherry blossom seal. In May\u00a0I will be a part of the annual Dumfries and Galloway\u00a0Spring Fling<\/a> as invited artist with the\u00a0Bankhead Studio Print Collective<\/strong> in the beautiful village of Kirkgunzeon.\u00a0The\u00a0work of six printmakers will be featured in this beautiful converted barn, the former studio of\u00a0Archie\u00a0Sutter-Watt RSW\u00a01915 \u2013 2005 along with some\u00a0retrospective works by the master himself.<\/p>\n

Cupar Arts Festival \u00a02016 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

international Festival of\u00a0Contemporary Visual Art \u00a018th to 25th June<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As one of the invited artists to Cupar Arts Festival<\/a> <\/strong> 2016\u00a0I am soon to commence work on this installation in a section of the former Sheriff Court Building. In this new work Gaps, Distortions and Downright Lies,<\/strong> I will attempt a <\/strong> complete\u00a0re-configuration\u00a0of space, in drawing.<\/p>\n

\u2018If the art of drawing is to be viewed as another danger sport, then you will have come to the right\u00a0place\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

There is an amazing line up of artists involved in this year\u2019s Festival 2016, including but not only Charles Avery,\u00a0Juliana Capes, Pier Guiseppe DiTanno, Juliette Losq, David Faithfull, Rachel Maclean, Jenny Smith and\u00a0Anthony Schrag.<\/div>\n
