This work was made on site on the rocky beach at Clachtoll in Sutherland. I was drawn to the slow green wave about to crash on the shingle and the famous ‘split rock’ across the bay. I have been making art in this corner of Sutherland since discovering the area as a school leaver on my first summer job in nearby Lochinver. This location also features in the Coast Road Diaries.
