In 2005 as artist in residence at the Lazaret Ollandini – a beautiful studio in a former 18th century quarantine hospital across the bay from Ajaccio, capital of The French Island of Corsica. Thanks to the Ollandini Foundation I was able to work there during late autumn of 2005 and it was during this residency that I discovered Scandola and the nearby Calanche area.
